In my opinion. The defence, for me, looked solid for nearly all of the game. Unfortunately, the one time a number of the lads switched off, they scored. However, this time when we went behind, the lads stuck to the task in hand and scored a much deserved equaliser. An excellent delivery from Isgrove being headed home by Pinnock, topping off his MOTM performance. There's always room for improvement, but I'm happier now than I was at three o'clock this afternoon. The sooner we get that next league win, the sooner we can move up the table. These last two home matches has seen a gradual improvement from what was on show before, but a couple of victories will certainly see confidence return to the players and fans alike. 2017 has been a poor one, especially when compared to the one preceding it. But with the new board finally here, perhaps things can now be moved forward with a number of astute signings. From One old, but still optimistic, fan.
Agree, completely. I am looking towards 2018 as a new beginning. Loved the atmosphere in injury time after we scored. Anything less than a point would have been a travesty.
Agreed. The performance was decent and we deserved at least a point. Really lacking height and power to compete up front, so hopefully we can get a couple of strikers in during the window. We really needed a win from one of the last 2 home games though, as the next few games look tough...
It was a solid performance , we bossed the game and just need to score and get a bit more confidence . Time for a few bottles and watch the darts . Bring on 2018
At half time I could only see one winner, us. We were a final ball away from taking the lead on numerous occasions and if we had got said goal, I think Reading would have crumbled. To me, Reading very much reminded me of us during LJ's bad run. Like we were, they try and play a brand of football that their players don't have the ability for...
You can’t fault the players for effort or application today. It was spot on. We just lack quality ....and it’s starting to tell.
