I wont be there tomorrow but I wish all the lads the very best and hope we come away with something. I am a season ticket holder and go to an average of 6 -8 away games per season. Lets forget about the past results and do what we do well as fans, Get behind em. I will be sat at home with sky sports news on between 2:50 and 5PM hoping that the reds come back with a win. I will be there tuesday at Hillsborough no matter what the result is tomorrow, I will be shouting, singing, Willing the lads on 1000%. I wish I could be good enough to turn out in a Barnsley shirt on tuesday and hope the lads show as much passion and commitment as we fans do. We are due a win at Hillsborough and no matter what we think of our manager, no matter what the past results have been, no matter who is signing for us or who is leaving or whether you want Davey in or Davey out. Turn up Tuesday with your Barnsley Shirt on, scarf wrapped round your neck, tattoo stamped on your butt cheek (lol). Forget about it and do what im gonna do. RED army for 90 mins and drown out the sound of the wendies and make us the noisiest away support they seen there since it was built. I cant wait and wish i could afford to go tomorrow as i would do the same there. As for transfer news. I can see Mifsud signing on Monday. All this speculation of hes asking for this and that in wages. We know nothing yet. Its just speculation. He will either sign or not. We cant do anything about it if he doesnt but if he does, he will be a great aquisition. I still hope we bring in a winger and CM player aswell as a defender. Its a lot to ask but last year we made 3 deadline signings and i wouldnt m ind it again. COME ON UUUUUUUUUUUU RRRRRREEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDZZZZZZZZZzz!!!!!!!!!!!
Well said that man............ I too will be at Hillsbrough and i will be getting behind the lads 100%
lol, like i say, if i could afford to go to all 23 away games, id be there. I love watching my team. I look forward to saturdays at home and feel so pi55ed off when the season ends. Like a big kid at start of season.
RE: Why? Maybe im a die hard, lol. Im one of them fans that has an opinion, but no matter whether i agree or disagree with the latest going ons, i'll still go and support my team. I sit next to a bloke in ponty end. All he does, is say that he wasnt gonna come today and now they lost on tuesday, he says he aint renewin his season ticket next year and that if he didnt have one this year, hed not go to next home game. Felt like givin him a gobfull but thats his opinion and hes entitled to it. I on the other hand care about whats going on but it wont stop me going down to Oakwell and the few away games and supporting my team.
RE: Why? No I mean why did he stop reading at 6-8 away games. He probably goes to em all lol (blagger)
RE: Why? players come and go.... they always will we support the club, the team, the tribe. ill be there tmrw (only cos my mrs is from bristol and ill kill 2 birds with one stone) cmon you reds
good man rogga, my kinda fan. every club has good times and bad. At the minute were in a rough patch but the players need us to get behind em and get behind em we will!!
Good post pal... ..I'm a season ticket holder. Nowt special in that there's plenty of us about. Depressing enough watching us at home, all those who follow us every away match deserve a medal. A great 'kin dustbin lid sized medal.
RE: I stopped reading when you said ''6-8 away games'' you are a right mong,i suppose you go to all the away games do you ,too many of your kind on here with the petty little remarks like yours ,grow up old cocker ffs,
All mongheads, lol There will be some people that read this that will actually feel like most of us do. Like i said in a later post, its the players that wear the shirt, not the manager and they are the ones who need our support. There are better managers about than Davey, but at the minute he's all we,ve got.
We are always hearing the same thing on here - "get behind 'em, get behind 'em" - it's boring The fans were brilliiant and Norwich until the gutless players threw the towel in. There was no time to get behind 'em on tuesday as the game was over before 8 o'clock. You sing until you're hoarse - he won't make Macken or Anderson put any effort in and it won't make Van Homo or Rigters or KO etc good players. The players and the management need to give the fans something to get behind - it's down to them not us
