Hassell did well at centre back after, in my opinion, being played there because Hill thought nobody could cope with Zigic so better to make Hassell look stupid than make Wiseman look bad. It failed Keith, he was the only defender to come out of today with any credit.

McNulty was fecking awful. Worst defender to play for Barnsley in living memory. Every time we cleared the ball and the defence pushed up, this moron hung around in the area inviting their players to stay up and playing them onside. Every time he got the ball the whole crowd held their breaths waiting to see how he could **** it up and he didn't fail to match the expectations.

Golbourne cannot beat a man and it takes him a good 5 or 6 seconds after recieving the ball to decide how to deal with it, usually by the time he has the chance has gone. Can't defend either.

The handbrake. Fecking awful. He comes to within 6 inches of any Barnsley player who has the ball, begs them to tap it to them and then turns round and boots it back to the defence. What is the fecking point? The only time he crossed the halfway line he scored, did nowt else except break up our play. Awful freekick to give away that lead to their goal. No excuse at all for it.

Perkins. Never stopped running, creating chances, winning the ball, harassing their players and then walked off to the bench when the clown took him off. Boos deservedly rang out around oakwell.

Done. His name says just what his career at Barnsley should be. DONE. Get shut in january if any lower league sides want him.

O'Brien. Put himself about, tried hard. Wrong position. A winger plays on the wing Keith, not in the middle.

Hill's attitude and lack of effort today was disgusting. He played the wrong starting 11 in the wrong positions and then made the wrong subs whilst sitting motionless at the back avoiding doing any managing.

His time is up and he cannot be in charge come saturday.

I would agree with most of that assessment, but I do think its a little harsh on Golbourne. Did brilliantly in the build up to the goal, made a couple of other good runs, and put in some good crosses towards the end that could have been converted.

goldbourne has arguably been our best left winger this season, lets not mention the fact he plays left back :)

Golbourn is good when he receives the ball in a bit of space, I think that's his strength. It's just frustrating when it takes him a few seconds to make a decision when he gets the ball. I reckon he's decent when they're not closing him down but under pressure he's poor.

Very harsh on Golbourne who has been good this season and didn't have a bad game today. It was Dawson who gave the free kick away as well, not Greening...

He certainly beat a couple of men in the build-up to the goal. Don't have a problem with Golbourne, he's had some poor games but he's an adequate left back at this level. The problems are elsewhere.

Dawson gave the freekick away for the 2nd goal, but it was remarkably soft.
