When I say we could have had, I mean other teams in our division have brought them in and they may have been useful...

Jonathan Grounds [Middlesbrough - Norwich] Loan - Left back
Antoine Sibierski [Wigan - Norwich] Loan
Jon Stead [Sheff Utd - Ipswich] Loan
Paul Gallagher [Blackburn - Plymouth] Loan
Alan Gow [Rangers - Blackpool] Loan
Martin Cranie [Portsmouth - Charlton] Loan

Never mind eh, we don't need any more players...

But they signed for other teams..

Whos to say they would even consider a move to Barnsley?

    I'm not...

But they've gone today so may have been available earlier if we'd had our finger on the pulse.

The point is that other teams with already stronger squads have strengthened further, and we haven't.

Good point and some of those in the list are our potential rivals in the lower half of the table.

the loan transfer window opens up again in a week until november, so we still have time.

more players will become available on loan with all the new players signed last night.
