im probably breaking rules ere by divulging things but they are in the public domain (one isnt). in fact, i may be passing on old news anyway. but here goes..
    . .
on saturday against Leicester, i made my way to the Ponty at about 10 to 3. i use the gate closest to the East Stand, to the side of the Ponty reception..
as i did this, i noticed a black gentleman (am i allowed to say that?) in a BFC tracksuit, and sporting a mohawk style hairdo.. i then realised it was Ricardo Vaz Te.
he looked to be queing up with 2 small children, and 2 adults - his family perhaps?
as i approached the queue, he walked in front of me toward the Welcome stand.
id presumed that he was back from injury so i was surprised to see him. i thought fluck it, and asked him:
"how come u not involved man, u injured still?"
he was great to stop, and as he picked up 1 of the kids he said:
    "no im good. gaffers choice."
    which raised my eyebrows.
    "yeah??" i said slightly puzzled.
and the look on his face told its own story.. i dunno how to explain it tbh. but it was like a slight sideways tilt of the head, with a scrunched grin and raised eyebrows. he then gave me a thumbs up with his free hand, and said:
    "enjoy the game mate.."
basically, and im no body language expert, his face told me he was as surprised as i was to find out he wouldnt be involved.
i expected him to just ignore me tbh.
so i just thought id share that.
as i got to the turnstyle, he was having his photo taken with fans..
    seemed a real friendly guy.
and he's a weapon we have only unleashed - to good effect too - the once. that sub appearance against Soton.
    . .
the 2nd bit of info is available on twitter so im not breaking any rules.
Reubenio is still no nearer to a return. its going to take time. he is in the 2nd stage of rehab, but having trouble running. check my timeline @apwhite13 if u wana know how i know.
    . .
and also on twitter, i exchanged a few tweets with JayMac.
i asked if it was true about the loan, and whether he would be glad or gutted. i also told him i dont kiss arse on there, and tell players the truth - as i see it.
i told him that he had been dodgy so far, since his injury really, but that every player has a dodgy spell, and that doesnt mean he should neccessarily be ditched. told him i miss the nasty JayMac that got into opponents. said to #proveemwrong
    he tweeted saying sumat like:
    "nothings happening though yet mate!"
and later a simple "much appreciated"
a lot of Derby fans saying they want him back. seems to be a rumour that he may be going back???
    . .
    and thats that..
ive been travelling to work, bored. so thought id share that with u, and maybe bore u too!
    UP THE REDS!

What I find so incredible about that is.....

... why would one of the squad have to queue at the turnstiles?

i did say he "looked" to be queing up. but as i got to the queue he strolled in front of me toward the Welcome stand with his family (i think)
he was mingling, and having photos taken with supporters. the kids had reds shirts on i think.. surprised nobody else on ere saw him tbh.

It's funny you should say that but:
On Sat my daughter was mascot for the Leicester game so around 2:15pm I was in the home dressing room with her collecting autographs etc. It was the usual pre match busy, buzzing atmosphere. Players in groups or couples chatting etc but in one corner of the dressing room was Vaz Te. He was sat in the corner alone, reading. He seemed totally and utterly detached from the whole squad. We spoke to him and he seemed very friendly but it just came across as if he was a lonely figure.
So...who knows what's gone on with him.

Is he going to be this seasons 'white elephant'. I hope not but if all this is true its not looking good.
