OK! so this my first post but have been reading the forum for a few months now and just wanted to make a few points!

    TICKET FIASCO:
I don't think the Club did too bad a job with the three big games. They weren't prepared that's all. With 6,000 (approx) Season Ticket holders and home support of just over 9,000 how were they going to be geared for the unlikely cup run we've had? I've missed 4 games at home all season and made a couple of away games and nearly didn't get a ticket for Wembley. It's not the club it's the fickle town we live in? 33,000 going to Wembley, A full house for Chelsea. Less than 10,000 home fans against the Blunts? Now that is what you call pathetic.

    SIMON DAVEY:
Talks a good game but I don't think he is personally up to the job. His tactics and team selections have had me bewildered at times this season. He's made some great signings don't get me wrong Muller, Steele, Souza, Foster, Anderson, Nyatanga, Kozluk, JCR and Macken. The squad is the best for many a year and should noy be 2 points above the relegation zone. He just cant get the best out of them. He's delayed substitutions at times this season which has cost us and played people un-nessarily out of position. Leon for example and Hassell, although the latter has played well in recent games you don't persist in trial and error team selections when you can't win for love nor money, especially with ready made replacements in the 'Squad' such as Togwell and Johnson??

Also why did we not get rid of the 'Dead Wood' in January such as Christiansen, Ried, Johnson. Surely we could have off loaded them to someone and get some money in, even if to subsidise thier wages? They obviously won't ever play for us again? I'll give him til October to pull his finger out other wise I doubt we can progress under the current regime.

    FORWARDS:
Odejayi is useless. I've given him time but he just can't cut it. He's a hero cos of one header, his best header of the season by the way was at Blackpool 4 days previous when he hit his own bar :p

Ferenczi is idle and over-rated. Christiansen looked good but obviously has his bags packed ready for a summer exit. Nards has lost it but that's his own fault for his summer antics and could, if not careful, slide into oblivion and at 24(?) would be a waste of goalscoring talent IMO. Mostto was a gamble and has shown glimpses but I doubt he will ever aclimatise. More wasted money there? Coulsen is a raw talent and could come good given a decent run of games. So all in all, apart from Macken who is not being paired with the correct type of player, is it any wonder we can't score?

I think we'll stay up. We obviously need a couple of strikers. What we could have achieved with Ward and Higgnett type forwards eh?

I hope Davey can prove me wrong cos like I said he talks a good game he just needs to put he's theory into practice.

Finally, I hope some of these 33,000 help cheer us on to Championship survival and on to greater things next season. Or will it be the usual 9,000 V QPR first game of next season?

    COME ON TARN!

The club made a serious error of judgement over the Liverpool tickets - issuing 6,000 tickets on the basis of 2 per season ticket holder when we have more than that number of season ticket holders.

However, I think they did fine over plans for Chelsea game and the semi.

Ferenczi - idle! Are you kidding?

Hardest working forward at the club, chases down defenders, doesn't give them time on the ball.

Are you sure you've not got him mixed up with Nardiello?

RE: Ferenczi - idle! Are you kidding?

Nah! He stands and watches them most of the time. Doesn't run the channels. Never even attempts to go up for headers with defenders when the ball is lumped forward nevermind win any and half the time he watches the ball fly past him before running after it instead of making a run before hand (Oddjob is guilty of this as pointed out by Hassell on Saturday when he had a go at him for it).

OK he put him self about at the back end of last season but this year I don't think he's been half the player.

Overall we're too static up front as a whole. It makes it easy for defenders is why we can't score cos we don't even create the chances half the time.

Nards is an idle bleeder too I'll agree, but the goal he made for himself against WBA was a beauty which I doubt any other striker at the club could have made then finished except Macken. Admittedly he's none naff all otherwise since he came back!

You know less about football than a speck of Paul Hart's bell-end cheddar.

Ferenczi idle? runs around everywhere apart from where the ball is or where he should be. Headless is what a bloke I know calls him.

Pay me 2 grand a weeks and I’ll run around a bit and probably make more than an impression than him.
