Worst ever substitution - Pedersen for O'Grady. Those around me were crying out for it, but I knew we'd lost as soon as we made it. O'Grady wasn't having a great game, but he was holding the ball up. We kicked it up front and it stuck. Pedersen has kicked the ball three times in his last 10 matches. He couldn't win a ball played up to him if his life depended on it. We all pillocked Young Nudger, but he was right.

2nd worst ever substitution - Scotland for Perkins. We were already starting to get overrun in midfield with 5, to put a striker on and go to 4 was criminal.

Worst ever man of the match performance - Ramage. I don't know what else to say about that.

Worst ever left back performance - Kennedy. Truly shocking.

Completely controlled the game for 60 minutes. Last 30 was as bad as we've ever played. The attitude of the players was appalling. I was sat in the East Stand upper. If I'd had better access to the pitch I might have run on and hauled Ramage and Kennedy off myself. Simply not fit to wear the shirt. And unfortunately, our best centre half is now playing right back because the one we've got was just as bad in his last two games.

    Awful and embarrassing.

    Not impressed then?

Don't usually comment on games when I'm not there, but even from 500 miles away it was clear that the last 30 minutes were an embarrassment. Can't wait to see the team for the Charlton game. If it's not 3-5-2 I'm going to shake my head and stamp my feet.

when you of all people post a thread like that

then I really am worried. We do not often see eye to eye you and me, but I do value and appreciate your comments and views on the team as I know its quite accurate and honest, JLWBL is the other I read and digest too, was he there today also?
But to give some reply to your post , well it is becoming more and more obvious to me that we will have to wait till the season is over in order to re-build again, I still hope Wilson is allowed to oversee the re-build too.

JLWBL was there. I was actually sat at the far end of the East Stand, but I could see Kev in his yellow coat in the Ponty from where I was.

I got ridiculed too for saying Pederson was a waste of a shirt and we would be better of with dagnal. I still believe that. We have wasted to much time on this player. He like kenedy shouldn't play again

Mmmmmm... well is that not a panning in disguise of our new manager?

He may not have the players he might like.......but he compounds the felony by virtue of team selection (Kennedy) team arrangement and team alteration (substitutions).

    Does not bode well.

Spot on and Pederson wants sending back total waste of space.

Perkins had to go off. He'd given up. The issue was the complete lack of options.

Jay, agree with 80% of that! very good assessment

However Ramage and the back four were solid today until the midfield disappeared. Mvoto MOTM for me today, won his battles and headers, kept it simple and set goal up.

Gotta agree about the Scotland sub, if he was gonna be put on should have been at 1-0 with COG up front.

The game was crying out for. Jennings and Ethuhooo to shore up the midfield and help Mellis out.

Can't believe we lost this game against an average side that still live off past glories

Agree with all that Jay, it was obvious we needed fresh legs in midfield yet we put 2 strikers on. Poor Danny poor.

Cant fathom the Crainie one missen was becoming a consistently good performer in the centre of the defence also thought Ramage was a right back in the past.

Wasn't impressed with Danny's subs today. So yes, the above is a criticism. But it's not a "You're **** Danny, I want you out and never wanted you in the first place."

I wanted Danny Wilson as manager, I think he's the right man for the job and I think in time he'll be a great benefit to our club. Today I thought he made a couple of mistakes and I've said so, but it doesn't change anything about how I feel about the situation.

He certainly wasn't helped by his players like.

As a former striker I'm gonna defend Peds. He has been devoid of service in this team for months.

Perkins, Dawson and JOB will not put a through ball a cross or anything for a striker to get on for for ages.

You can't score goals without support and service, I'm sorry but you can't, if you don't believe that then you've never played game.

Put Peds in Derby team and he would bleed goals

    disagree with you fella

In my opinion Danny is still feeling his way, I do not think he knows what is his best team/options, he will be asking Mellon for advice...and is that gonna be any use. I believe he needs his own assistant, who that may be I do not know. Nicky Eaden or Niel Redfearn may be very good shout s... but it's Danny's call for me and no one elses. Also until he can get rid of a good few and bring in some of his own then I think its gonna get a helluva lot worse. But in no way can Danny be blamed for that totally.

I thought at the time Scotland was an odd sub, but not being there was hard to say. You might argue the intention was to give more options up front and take some pressure off the midfield. It was certainly a more positive one, but unfortunately it appeared to backfire.

I agree with that, he has, so I can understand why the goals have dried up, but he's got to offer something else in general play and he's just not doing. He's not offering us anything at all. I don't think we would have faired any worse today had we taken O'Grady off and not put anyone on.

Hard one for me. I wasn't a proper fan today.

But before kick off I saw allsorts of stuff with starting cog up front on his own. (Ie 1 up front at home to league one)

    So....

Is this danny knowing we are just ***** in midfield and having an extra body gives us a bit more?

Cos by the way I read things. As soon as we went 2 up front we got mullered.

Our problem is and has been midfield for years. We only ever had one decent midfield set up and we were flying until "the board" decided to cash in. Oh and that dirty leeds ****...

They cant defend, support the attack or.... err.... midfield
