Leeds admit breaking League rules Dennis Wise's Leeds outfit could face FA sanctions Leeds could face disciplinary action from the FA after admitting they broke Football League rules by fielding six loan players at Burnley in November. Graham Stack, Matt Heath, Ugo Ehiogu, Tresor Kandol and Geoff Horsfield all played as Leeds lost 2-1, while Tony Warner was an unused substitute. League rules say the maximum number of loanees in a match-day squad is five. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/leeds_united/6164745.stm But a club statement read: "We will co-operate fully on this matter and explain the extenuating circumstances."
Anyone know the penalty for that Surely it is at least a 3 point deduction. "extenuating circumstance" what the f--k would that be someone couldnt count or someone didnt know the rules.
Can't see it being anything more than that Going into administration is 10 points so I can't see it being anywhere near that.
thing is,Leeds are in with the "IN" crowd despite where they are now , so nowt will be done..BUT IF but if a lesser or unfashionable team like say Oldham or Chesterfield or Lincoln or.... well ya know what I amm saying, then they would get taken apart by the FA.I predict Leeds will not even be fined.
