http://threeamigoswigan.com/2014/08/03/uwe-rosler-a-look-at-his-tactics-and-philosophy-revisited/ Is there anyone who would be against his appointment if he's interested? My opinion is we should be doing everything within our power to get him.
TBH I'll think about showing of my ass on a certain set of steps if Mr Rosler ...... arrives at Jokewell as the next manager just not gonna happen guys... we will get some cheap and cheerful option... guaranteed.
Good article that. Uwe does seem like a great candidate. But there is the problem. Would he want to take over at barnsley. Surely a backward step. But if the board could get him. And this time actually let a manager do their job for a decent period of time it would appease some fans. However going to have to go a long way to win back any kind of good feeling after the bollock they've dropped sacking danny.
It is. Which is why the club need to make that extra push and get a manager the majority will be happy with. In my opinion the only potential available manager to do that is Rosler.
He's the only candidate that would give me genuine hope for the future. Just doubt we can afford him and surely he will wait for a job to come up at a better placed club?
I like this bit: "Uwe was a stickler for fitness. Last summer he took the team away for a conditioning week in Germany where they undertook an iron man session involving all sorts of body straining and team bonding exercises. The team was infinitely fitter at the beginning of this season as opposed to when Uwe took over". Wow,imagine that. A fit Barnsley team! First one banging on his door for an immediate contract cancellation? "Mr Rosler, Mr Rosler....I can't do this". "Get out of my office Jennings, and don't leave that kebab on my desk"
If we can pull in someone like him the club have still got work to do to turn the mood of the fan base around. I hope the wad in Pats back pocket is giving his arse some jip and it needs immediate relief. The club have got some serious work on their hands.
Rosler for me after reading that doesnt sound like someone who is motivated by money, he sounds like a man who loves a challange, someone to turn around a struggling team and put his own stamp on it
I wanted him before reading that but now I want him as manager even more. We should definitely being doing our best to get him.
I think he'd be great but having read the answers from the Brentford lad it seems it took him s couple of seasons to get Brentford right. So forget it
All sounded good apart from the serial rotation part, I'm not a big fan of that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
