http://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/article/greening-has-intelligent-energy-hill-499977.aspx The only way we could go any slower than we do now is if we turned around and deliberately started scoring own goals. We're already a team that look like we've got the breaks stuck on. We need to find the accelerator pedal or a nitro button or summat. Intelligent energy my arse.
Desperate. Under pressure. But according to fans on here and twitter he's back to being a hero and his quotes are now funny again... until Cardiff eat us alive this weekend, and then he'll be compared to Robins, the loan ranger. Or sumat. Probly.
So if he subs him he`ll be taking the handbrake off and we will roll down Hill to league one. Is that it.
I think we defo need an handbrake Jay. Against huddersfield with the way we play then we need someone in there who can spot danger off the play and cover. PEople may or maynot like Hugo Colace but he used to be very good at that. Say the left back wasn't there he would spot it straight away and cover that psoition and get someone in to cover the central midfield so on and so on. On the ball. we sometimes just got forward and get stuck. Stones gets stuck on the ball and if Dawsons not available then hes got nothing on. Greenning will get on the ball and pass it short which will get the ball moving better.
Hassell was rubbbish at it. Did you see him against Peterborough. One of the worst displays ive seen from any player in any match ive watched live or tv and thats a lot of games MErlin.
Hopefully Keith is going to PICK Greening now he has brought him in. This situation seems quite similar to the Michael Tonge situation last season.
I think its very harsh to expect someone to come in for a single match and be completely up to speed. Hassell looked well off the pace to my eyes, but he has played there to good effect previously.
Why on earth did Hill sign Tonge if he's rubbish? He knew he wouldn't be fit, and there is a fair chance Greening won't be either.
To the funny farm where life is beautiful all the time and I'll be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and they're coming to take me away ha-ha
Mi father used to sing it to me regular, mainly when he`d had a bevvie or two. They never came thank god.
