A hello and anyone need a lift from Leicester?

Just a quick hello from me. I've read this forum for a long time and thought it time to join.

Also, I'm travelling from work in Leicester to the game tonight and thought I'd see if anyone needed a lift (going back to barnsley tonight)

Had some good times visiting mates who lived there or were at Poly.

Had mi first kebab in Leicester at Ali baba's (near de montfort house) although why i remember that is a bit weird really. Got beaten up by a doorman at the '39 Steps' bar (dunno what it is called now).....dunno why, i only called him a tw.at!

Also went to see Sigue Sigue Sputnik at Leicester Poly.....utter garbage but was a good laugh seeing all the crowd throw plastic pint pots at them (Martin Degville - lead singer?).

I've failed once already with someone else so I'll ask you now.
If you could just bob up the A46 to Lincoln then a few miles further north then I'll be happy for you to give me a lift.
But you'll have to get a move on, mind.

 

no offence, but a 120 mile detour won't really work for me!
