    So a player may or not be gay. So what? Does it matter so much that it should receive such media attention? FFS live and let live.

    Raheem Sterling had fathered about 3 mini-scousers by the time he was 17. Doubt very much he drives on the other side of the road.

    This for me is why no or very few footballers will ever come out during their playing careers due to the sensationalist headlines the newspapers will make out of what should be and is a very normal everyday situation. I don't care if any of the England players are Bi, straight, Gay or whatever else they want to be, if they are decent human beings and give 100% every time they wear the 3 lions what else matters?
