A-level grade A's up again to 24% , are exams getting easier, or teachers better?

    Exams easier. A levels these days are about jumping through hoops. If you do certain things in answers in many subjects then you can get easy marks. The exams are too predictable, and teachers can quite easily coach kids to pass exams, rather than the kids having to rely on their knowledge and intelligence.

    i hope that's true although how can 24% of all grades be "A"? Summat wrong there.

    Don't get me wrong, I'm not an old codger, I took mine 2 years back. I just honestly think that they need changing.

    Tha'll need to shrink a bit, get a gut, and then prat abart on here the rest of your life. To be fair, it's a lot more than my teacher's said I'd amount to.</p>

    Basically if they can turn up at the exam these days the throw a pass at them
