    I only said to my dad last night that something's afoot down at oakwell. It's all far too quiet and DW's comment about how being in Italy would be great so they could be out of the spotlight.

    Might be 2+2=5 but somert int Reyt.

    Ben May have splurged some bull but he generally does make some comment.

    We'll see!!

    Isn't Beckham based in Miami :confused:

    I quite liked Sean Lewis. Which puts me in a minority of one I believe. His takeover was a no go right from the start, the bloke didn't have a penny, but I thought he was a decent fella. He brought Gudjon in who I really liked. I still maintain his sacking was the worst in our history.

    I reckon Sean Lewis was stitched up as much as we were. He must have been made promises to put himself in that position, unless he was completely bonkers, but he didn't seem that way to me. They say it takes one to know one and I'm a ******* loony where as Sean Lewis came across as perfectly sane. I talked to him a couple of times one on one and he had some genuine ideas about how to take the club forward. Not the tellies as is often quoted (although we've got them now) but real stuff. He just didn't have any capital, which was kind of the whole point I suppose. I'll tell you one thing though, Supertyke would have liked him because if Sean Lewis was in charge of our club those tellies would definitely be switched on - as we watched football in the Conference North.

    I liked Lewis too seemed a thoroughly decent bloke with some smart ideas unfortunately I think I'm less skint than he is.

    We shall see if any truth is in it. Beckham is trying to get a Miami based football team going so if we do get took over by a group from Miami they should look into trying to get the locals interested in us.
