A lot was about Stones leaving affecting us, I'm not sure how much in all honesty

I think the results of others made it tighter than perhaps it should have been.

But I do know one thing to lose both wing backs from a fluid winning football side in space of a month and embark on a memorable cup run also makes our achievement of staying up even greater.

To have to play games on Tuesday straight after a cup win knowing you've lost more ground in league, and winning those games showed balls of steel

I'd have liked to have had him back on loan but I'm not sure losing him really had that much of an effect on us either.

Classy player but a right-back never really has that much influence on a game even though he personally has had some of the best wingers in the league in his back pocket and completely nullified their threat.

It's losing players like Brian Howard, Vaz Te, Hammill, Butterfield that can make a good team look like a bad one overnight.
