    Is creating this a step towards reintroducing sycc and all of the wasted beaurocracy we had to suffer in the past.

    Has anyone sat and realised what there "amazing" announcement on letting councils keep what they raise in business rates mean yet?

    you can kiss goodbye to councils like barnsley

    I'd rather we went back to the pre-Heath government years and had the West Riding County Council. Its members were paid the same as Parish Councils today (expenses only) and did a better job at running the show.

    I know many don't hold our council in high esteem. But I can vouch for some of the work they do. They have some very committed employees. (And others as do any emoloyers)

    the cuts they have had won't come anywhere near to what they will face now.

    The difference between what they "send" in business rates to what they will now get back is and will be astronomical.

    Be prepared for virtually no services.

    I think you're right.

    Better let the ******* Tories treat us all like **** than let Sheffield hold the purse strings.

    We'll get 5/8ths of sweet FA if Sheffield decide the split of the money between us, rotherham Donny and dee dah land.

    SYCC was created in 1972 by the Conservatives were in power but carry on spouting right wing drivel.
