    I was full of optimism in the summer. It's gone after 3 games. Good players playing badly and/or lacking motivation and/or playing out of position. Squad players released and not replaced.

    It's still early days THIS SEASON, but the evidence of the last 3 years is plain to see. I thought and hoped that things would change this season, as for a while there did seem to be a new way of communicating with the fans, a commitment to play 442, attempts to bring in good players etc etc. But the evidence on the filed is that nothing has changed - if anything it has got worse.

    Sad to say but yes, time is just about up.

    Really lovely song as well.

    I've seen the evidence with my own eyes. As most people know I was full of optimism in the summer, and especially after the Man City game (yes I know it was only a practice game).

    If we win the next 6 in a row I will get behind him again. But like many on here say it may be early in THIS season but nothing has changed in 3 years.

    Daft thing is we at least created chances and got loads of corners on Tuesday - but just when we improve (very slightly - I know we didn't score!) the attacking side of things we go and mess up at the back!

    I purposely did not post anything last night because I was boiling mad, but 24 hours on I am just sad. I hope the club can turn things round, somehow.

    The realism sank in for me last season, but you can't help hoping things will change even though you know deep down it will never happen
