    Redfearn is one of our ultimate cult figures. He dabbled at Boston, Scarboro and Halifax in the management game and was such a success he decided to keep playing instead.</p>

    He should be fondly remembered as an outstanding servant, not a victim of the BFC managerial merry-go-round.</p>

    I believe that if redders had stayed at the club rather than going to Charlton that he could have been the manager instead of Hendrie. That was Redders chance, its gone now.
