Their player swung his arm out at devaney and tried to punch him the referee was stood less than 5 yards away watching and he obviously saw it because he shouted OI but he didnt even have a word with the player. Straight red card totally ignored by the referee
Their no 14 Hutchinson nearly took Devaney's head off,ref saw it played advantage which lead to penalty incident,ref fecked up alround by not acting on either incident.
Almost every week, or every game we say " This Ref is the worst I've ever seen" or words to that effect. The sad thing is that it is always true!
We seem to get Refs who are out of their depth when they come to a quality ground such as Oakwell. They are at home at Layer Road etc, but our ground must be their cup final.
