This is a difficult one, but I had go for Glavin. With the Promotion / Premier League team I was overseas, but in those days there was no real live coverage of the games. As such, I was less emotionally involved. Currently, I'm really enjoying iFollow, but as an early-semi-retired-but-working-again-if-I-can person, I'd rather be over in person watching with my brother. The Plague prevents this. With Glavin et al, I was there in person in the old West Stand, freezing my nads off. The real deal.
In no way would I detract from what this team is achieving, it is absolutely amazing. When Danny and the team did it nearly 25 years ago it was the first time and it felt amazing. Being there, feeling part of it made it special. I was mid 20’s, life was simple, football, nights out and a bit of work. For those who weren’t old enough to have experienced that promotion this season will be amazing but it’s such a shame none of us have been there in person. Nothing will ever replicate the game against Bradford and the tarn that night, possibly the best day of my life.
DWs team finished 2nd. Played Brazilliant football and were outstanding. VIs team is also brilliant in other ways. Different era. Different style. Different opponents. But I voted the boys from Brazil.
Loved watching Danny's side, but I've never seen us consistently control games like we do at the minute. So I've got to go with big Val. Glavin is before my time.
The other 2 are before my time! Daniels promotion winning season was brilliant. But in context we were a decent championship side living in L1, worth more and better paid than most of the opposition. But this team - on paper should be comfortably bottom half of the championship. The fact we are in the top 6 is an object lesson in tactical superiority. With only fitness and sheer hard work we are over performing massively.

Me too The actual football played was way better, plus it was great having our academy players shining like Eaden and Watson.
It’s got to be Danny’s team, simply because he took us to the Prem. As the Aussies say “look in the book” That said if we go up this season I may change my mind to Val.
Voted Danny's team but if Val had been installed at the start of the season it would have been a more 50/50 decision based on current form .
This team on paper should be bottom half of the championship what a load of ***** I think the players we have are just as good as the other teams in the top 6 sorry don,t understand that post.
I’d go with DW’s team..... the football we played that season was sensational. The memories of being at the Bradford game & celebrating on the pitch afterwards is undoubtedly my best and most memorable moment in football.... If Big Val manages to get us promoted this season, then he’ll aye freedom o tarn surely
I voted for Danny's team, because we reached the Prem for the first time, and also it was the first promotion I witnessed following the reds. Glavin was before my time. Here's hoping that Big Val can lead us back to the top table.
There was something magical about the 96/97 team. For most of the season the crowds were pretty small and it grew and grew. Atmosphere was amazing when singing "Brazil" And Bullock was playing.
