This lad has come on a ton since moving from Reading to Swindon for £200k in January this year. He is still only 21 and improving all the time. I think Reading made a mistake in letting him go when they were in the Premiership and thinking that they would not be able to get him enough first team football to bring him on.

This is the most exciting young striker outside the premiership without any doubt. Just 5'10" and a lightweight at just over 10 stone, but have a look at his chip for his second goal at the Iron on Saturday and you will agree that the lad has premiership quality.

It is a good time to invest in youth when the team is on the up. He has 14 league goals from 14 starts this season, has two memorable hat tricks against quality opposition and has scored in every other game.

It would cost at least £500k, but that is worth the Howard fee. No better young striker anywhere. Get him before he price goes up!! I know Coulson is on the way back as well, but quality is quality and this is an excellent investment.

I think we should gamble on James Brown from Hartlepool.

James Vaughan on loan for the rest of the season.

Everton only play with 1 up front and he's behind Yakubu, Saha and Anichebe.

I reckon Davey can pull it off with the old pal's act.

At least if it doesn't come off, we have wasted money on unproven lower level strikers. Cox would never have got a mention if he wasn't in the headlines and James Brown needs to thank one man for raising his profile - JEFF STELLING!

Just look at decent League1 strikers that have struggled in the Championship, Eastwood, Hayes, Trundle, Sharp to name a few.

Don't know too much about this lad, but Rickie Lambert at Bristol Rovers always seems to knock them in.

    What are people on today!?

You say he can play at a higher level but not sure whether he could play in the championship. The CCC is the next level up from where he plays now!

and Pboro have openly said they value him at 5m, and Barry Fry said that if someone offered that, then the price would go up to 10m, he's just signed a 3 year deal, he won't be moving.
