Sky News etc have reported that the Portuguese Police havetold Kate McCann that if sheconfesses she'll only get two years.
Are these polls allowed now? Thought they had been banned? Apparently we are not allowed to give our opinion on this.
The last poll on whether they were guilty or not got shot down in flames by some. "Feckwits" was one phrase used.
Its a loada ****** ''Imo'' Why the **** would the Police do something stupid like that?. They'd know for sure it'd be reported in The News of the World, therefore it'd make them look stupid!!. More to this than meets the eye.... I'm off to raise my profile now.... (nodding2fingers) Gonna throw some Kites up in the air....
<font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">From the family </p></font></font><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">"If there is any evidence to implicate Kate and Gerry in any way then it has been planted” </p></font></font><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">"I don't know how, what or when, but something has been put in place to bring about this bizarre line of questioning. </p></font></font><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">"I've kept quiet up to now so as not to do anything to disrupt the investigation, but enough is enough. </p></font></font><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">"This is nothing short of a disgrace. Of course it's in the Portuguese authorities' interest to get Kate and Gerry out of the country under a cloud. It makes it look as if they've made progress after getting nowhere despite months of investigation." </p></font></font><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">Brian Healy, Mrs McCann's father, added: "The police have got nothing to go on, they are just trying to save face. Something stinks over there. It is stupid, a farce." </p></font></font><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">Mr McCann's sister Philomena said: "We are furious, the utter incompetence of the investigation has led to this. The very notion that Kate is now considered a suspect is ludicrous and insulting. It is an outrage." </p></font></font> <font size="2"></font></p> <p class="story2" style="margin: auto 0cm"><font size="2">From The Telegraph</font></p><font size="2">Some forensic scientists have begun to question some of the evidence against the couple - supposedly samples of Madeline's blood found in the boot of the car they hired 25 days after the disappearance, and the "death smell" allegedly found on Mrs McCann's belongings by a police sniffer dog. </p></font><font size="2">There is suspicion that tiny DNA samples obtained from the McCanns' apartment - and compared with the blood found in the car boot - could have been contaminated. </p></font><font size="2">One of Britain's leading forensic scientists, who asked not be named, said: "If they are spots of blood, it could not be from a car used by the McCanns 25 days later. That doesn't make sense. </p></font><font size="2">"The blood would have dried and it would not transfer as spots unless the child is alive. It would be fragments [of dried blood]. </p></font><font size="2">"But that is not what the police are saying they have. This is the prevailing view among other forensic scientists I have spoken to." </p></font><font size="2">John Barrett, a former Scotland Yard dog handler, also indicated that the trained dogs used in an attempt to detect a "death smell" on Mrs McCann's Bible and clothes were brought in too long after Madeleine vanished. </p></font><font size="2">The crucial scent lasts for no longer than a month, he said. </p></font>
And the Portugese police deny it.... ... apparently a family member of the McCanns has "misunderstood" whats gone off and gone blaging to the press, again. The Portugese Police dont go giving the press any scraps of news they have, they bide their time. This is whats making it out to be a mess, just because they do things different over there.
Curiouser and curiouser Sky News report that a full DNA match has been found in the car http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,91210-1283359,00.html
Stupider and stupider. "It shows, as far as they are concerned, the presence of Madeleine's body in the car five weeks after she disappeared."</p> Jesus Christ on a Raleigh Chopper.</p>
RE: Heh heh. Why do a poll then? Should have just had one answer, then everybody could just agree with you.
Don't care who agrees and who doesn't mate. Iwas interested to see how many were daft enough to genuinely believe the McCann family would deliberately and pointlessly wind up the Portuguese authorities but I reckon there's a bit of pillocking going on.</p>
RE: Don't care who agrees and who doesn't mate. Maybe some pillocking but maybe people have voted for that option because they think there has been confusion somewhere along the line. The options leave no middle ground.
So in the absence of the option they believe........... ....they voted for one they don't?</p> Sounds a bit daft that does.</p>
