First half - absolutely sublime. Some of the football was amazing to watch and we were very good value for the 3-0 lead. It could've and should've been more.

Second half - solid, but lacklustre and tired. We never got going and it seemed the roles were reversed as Derby knocked the ball around and we ran ourselves ragged trying to get it back. Davies and Gray worked tirelessly up front, but never got a shred of the ball and as a result, we offered little in attack. Tonge tired after 65 minutes but gave a good display.

Overall, a good 3 points. A real shame we could'nt have kept a clean sheet though.

Great in the first half, ran rings round Derby. Some of the football was as good as it gets being a Barnsley fan. Not quite Barcelona but not far off.

Korey Smith bossed the midfield and set up two goals with brilliant passes.

Thought the the two loanees were tired from the outset of the second half, and with Clough's words ringing in Derby's ears they took the initiative. We looked slow and second best, although they didn't create too many chances on goal.

Steele didn't have much to do, but what he did do, he managed to balls up! Definitely at fault for both goals; maybe it's time to give Preece a start on Saturday just to remind him no-one's undroppable after a bad game. He doesn't have many, but last night was one.

Special mention to Matty Done, thought he was MOM over 90 minutes.

We'll be ok when Smith & Tonge are match fit, and Jimbo is back. Not expecting play-off push or relegation battle, it looks like respectable mid-table for us, which'll do.
