I'm no Carol Vorderman but (depending on who plays who) could Leeds relegate us? If we lost v Charlton and then Leeds and the results weren't favourable? If not then surely a defeat at Derby could do it? Please forgive my pessermist moment, I'm trying a new tactic as only glimpses of my usual blind optimism seem to have surfaced this season. I do fear the fat old lady is doing her vocal warm ups though. But until the Vord at the Board calculates an ever greater great escape is still on....... get thi calcs out for the lads! UTR *edit, god I've gone and done it now and looked at the table which I said I wouldn't do. Bottom 6 goal difference on a 7 goal swing between the best/worse of those!
Alternatively, we could go into the Leeds game knowing that a win would definitely lift us out of the drop zone, albeit having played an extra game than Charlton. It's a matter of personal choice, obviously, but I prefer my scenario.
I think the season has already been defined and the definition is *****. Even if we do escape relegation, unlikely as that may seem, it will still have been *****.
