He can order one but I'll tell you now, it won't be adhered to. People stopped listening to the racist, homophobic, sexist, lying pig when he defended the indefensible when his mate took his family on holiday and he's only lost more and more respect (if that's possible) after his racist targeting of Muslims and class targeting of poor areas since then.

You are right. There also needs to be benefits for those forced to self isolate for 14 days, otherwise a lot of people will keep on working.
There is no joined up thinking. Lots of money has been thrown at things like Eat Out To Help Out, but if you don't compensate people for loss of earnings, loads of people can't afford to comply & will spread it to many.

Yup a lock down like March when everything shut like small family buisneses but billionaire companys such as asos was allowed to do as they please. Typical.

Only they are going to call it a short circuit break or some other bull to divert attention
How they can expect people to respect them when they seem to be making it up as they go along with no coherent plan and dont respect the laws themselves I have no idea - and as for the testing laughingly called NHS test and trace - even though its almost all privately ****** up by Dido at great expense is beyond me - I read that hospitals aren't even allowed to test their own staff - presumably because it hits Sercos profits.

worst govenrment in my lifetime trying to deal with one crisis it manufactured and one totally out of control with a PM who is basically busking it - what a time to be in England eh

And what exactly were you expecting.
We have an incompetent govt led by a charlatan.
This serious Covid situation needs real leadership to try and defeat it. But it is blatantly clear this shower in number 10 are not up to doing anything about it.

I do not think any of the leading parties would have done any better to be honest Ian.

Of course we can't tell for sure. I'd say that Labour, with one of the finest brains in the country in charge, would have stood a lot better chance of handling things than a party led by a thick as pigsh1t chancer who is only in charge of the country because his parents could afford to send him to an elite school.

How bad it was when Dido said she didn't want the job. It's a serious position full of big responsibility so it should have gone to someone that wanted it and was passionate at making a difference.
