A simple yes or no. Is it time for a change at the top at Oakwell?

Are we really any better off than we were 6 years ago?

We are worse off than we were 12 months ago let alone 6 years ago. The current squad of players is the worse bunch i have ever seen at oakwell, that squad has been assembled by the Hill and the lack of funds at his disposal. Investment is needed very quickly at the club or we will only slide further down the league and releagtion will be a formality next season.

Yes, by about 3 seasons in mho. They are killing this club and need to pass the club onto competant replacements. Who these are i have not got a clue but the way things are going at the moment, kipper jackson could do a better job!

No, as there is nobody out there to take over. If there was they would be at the club by now.

they should have let paul sykes on the board when dennis was at the helm we wouldnt have been in administration and we would have been a lot stronger now.

    What a pathetic comeback.

PC has made it known he wants to sell the club.

But, as a fan (something which many on here seem to forget) he doesn't want it to go to some fly-by-night investor, who'll run away as soon as things get tough and leave us in the ****.

The man is ill, and has this court case coming up which I am sure takes up all his time.

If he didn't care, why the hell did he buy the club in the first place?

Very well said. Since he left for ill health we've missed him and he should have been replaced. Could do worse than trying to add John Dennis back to the board and let him try and use his contacts to bring in extra revenue.

Do we have the right to demand improvement over the last 6 years?

    Demand?No. Expect? Possibly.

Coming into a higher league, everyone knows that you have to make a step up.

We have improved, but probably not as much as we would have liked.

    Re: Demand?No. Expect? Possibly.

Anybody seriously criticising what PC has done for us must be absolutely deluded. Used his own money to guarantee the club's survival, has made it known that the club is effectively for sale but seeing that investors with bags of cash aren't queuing up to take over he is now putting in place a policy whereby the club is self sufficient. This is due both to the problems throughout football (Pompey, Rangers, Plymouth etc) and presumably also that he might be found guilty, whatever the reasons it is the correct thing to do so the long term future of the club is assured. If that means eventually we get outspent by clubs borrowing up to their eyeballs and get relegated then so be it. You have to separate these issues from the team on the pitch, yes at the moment we are in a bad run but as I have often stated on this board it takes 3 full seasons to build a team and only then should a manager be judged. It's absolutely staggering how when other clubs sack managers too quickly we slate them but whe are so fickle with our own team.
