Parkhead is (was ) Celtic Park isn't it? http://www.scottishgrounds.co.uk/celtic.htm#By Train/Tube Glasgow Central & Queens Street railway stations are around a 30 minute walk away from the ground. Probably best to jump in a taxi (about £5). Otherwise if you arrive at Glasgow Central you can take a local train to Dalmarnock station which is about a ten minute walk away from the ground. Paul Boyd provides the following directions to the ground; 'As you come out of the station entrance, turn right and proceed to the end of the road. Turn left into Dalmarnock Road and proceed up to the traffic lights at the junction with Mill Street. Turn right at those lights into Mill Street and proceed all the way along Mill Street until you reach the traffic lights at London Road (at the junction with the Police Station). From there, you turn right and Celtic Park is around 250 yards up the road on the left hand side'.
Never fookin' heard of it! Although the website EastStander posted says Dalmarnock, and I know where that is
tsk tsk... Carntyne is along from Shettleston - not as rough but you'd still need full body armour. Bellgrove is on the Airdrie line and quite close - just along the Gallowgate - and Bridgeton which is the stop further on from Dalmarnock on the Lanark (and possibly Hamilton) line - though I would recommend Dalmarnock as Bridgeton is worse than the Shankhill road on an Orange day.
I pass both Dalmarnock and Bridgeton on my way into Glasgow Oh, and Wembley tickets will hopefully be in my possession by next weekend, mate.
