This £10 million that has been bandied about. That would not by any means compensate Patrick for the time and money he has invested into BFC. It's evident that he wants to hand the club over to new owners, but he is not going to give it away! That figure would go some way to cutting PC's losses and would appear to be the asking price of the club as a business, not including the ground and not the land that is Oakwell. People are under the illusion that this £10m will go directly into team strengthening and players wages, it won't! That is Patricks 'cake' and he deserves it! There has been no mention of an owners plan for the business if and when it is acquired. The only rumour is of a change in management, no mention of 'investment' which is a different thing entirely. 'Investment' would mean a new party coming up to te current regime and saying "here y'are, I've got £X million pounds for you, now can I have X% of the club and a nice comfy seat on the board please? Oh, and a secretary with big tits and a nice cup of tea, Ta." It's no coincidence, that the pro blind investment/takeover board members are either A. The moaners, B. gamblers anonymous rejects or C. Media junkies too young to remember administration. It is pretty much the same divide of characters that exists in any given topic under discussion. And I've said it before, there's a Phd in all this somewhere for someone mad enough to be arsed. And it's not fur, by the way.
Quote from Chronicle.... "Talks have been ongoing for the last month and reports claim the investors would be willing to pump up to £10million into the squad."
