How can a team containing 5 or 6 players who have never trained together, don't know each other, be part of a team that can produce an excellent game and an excellent result?
Perhaps if players are left to their own devices they play better than they do if they are constrained by having to adopt certain tactics, follow certain plans - set pieces etc.
