I for one like Richards. Andy Ritchie likes him and his contribution to the team so much that not only has he given him a longer contract but hes brought in cover for him. By all accounts the new lad is a similar type of forward and will fill in should Richards get injured. That for me speaks volumes about the importance of Richards role in the team. Just my thoughts like. Ill ready myself for the abuse!
I'm not really a Richards Fan Though I think he does OK.</p> However I hope that Ritchie hasnt brought the new striker as cover for Richards, I suspect its more the other way round. With Richards providing the cover when Hayes or Wright get injured. In any case we need 3 regularly fit Strikers and with Nads clearly not being one of those I suspect we will see a fair amount of Richards, Hayes and Wright</p>
i like cenre forwards that score goals,he doesn,t and never looks likely to.I,d prefer it if we signed somebody that richards can fill in for!
