a typical saturday 3pm kick off, what time does everyone usually get to their seats?

im afraid im one of the 5 past lot after squeezing that last pint in!

 

Usually 5 mins before. Stand down at bottom for a 5 mins too before that.

Leave house at 1.15, get to Barnsley at 2.15, get to ground about half 2, stand outside and wait for brother, nephew etc then go inside at about quarter to, get to seat for 5 to 3.

 

10to/5to 3

 

1.00 in the club.....2.20 leave for ground......2.45......take seats..

 

Each to their own mate, but I really can't understand why anyone would regularly miss the 1st 10 to 20mins of a 90 minute game.

 

If it was up to Dad you'd be there for 12

I normally set off about twenty past, walk down and arrive about quarter to. Meet up with Ponty and in we go unless i go to the Outpost first then i set off an hour earlier. Never late in though

 

2:30 - 2:45 usually nt

 

But!!!! then i go for a pint around the 30 minute mark & climb back into my seat around 10 mins into the 2nd half. That way you miss most of the ***** been served up on the pitch

 

As near to 3 o'clock as possible

which usually means about 5 past.

Well thats fair enough then! You ough tto apply for a season ticket rebate for the minutes you miss and put behind their bar in the meantime.

i sit on an end row in the ponty and i'm fecking sick of people turning up at 5 and 10 past 3 because they've been stood on the concourse, *******

Theres four blokes who sit about 15 seats in who every match turn up 5 minutes late

Each one of them goes for a p!ss in the first half - at separate times

Two of them leave 5 minutes before half time to get the drinks in

They come back five minutes into the second half

at least two of em do the toilet routine second half

and they leave individually between 10 and 0 minutes to go.


Bloke next to me for 90 minutes
