We're on a train heading for Manchester so maybe he's heading to the North West?

No I didnt ST, and I dont know what the heck that means either by 'google translate'.

What Im saying Redstar is your one of the most negative and dismissive posters on here for whatever reason. And for some strange reason if I or a few other posters choose to post the same way, and almost try to agree with you, then you go all ridiculous and defensive.
I asked you this during the week by the way, are you enjoying disagreeing with yourself constantly on here ?

He would only be travelling on his own if he had the permission from the manager to do so.

So that doesn't suggest an issue.

The fact we looked so much better second half with him there will have helped too.

He was probably allowed to go on his own to visit family or something. They'll have today off and back in Monday you'd imagine to prepare for Tuesday night.

Getting beat to a shirt by a central midfielder who can't play left wing and someone who has been in the club for two days is only gonna piss people off.

Would hope one of the journalists has the bottle to ask Hecky that. They won't like. But it's really baffling. And ***** on Potts. Sounded well out of his depth & clearly had no idea on the tactics or his fellow players.

It did seem strange Hecky didn't start him.

He had a below par season last year. It didn't seem due to lack of effort, but rather trying too hard & to do too much on a return to a division that is his level, but only just about. A lot of players surpassed him last season & the frustration on his face was for all to see at times, especially on the occasion the threw his dummy out at being taken off. That said, his signing was the turnaround point the season before, the inspiration & that momentum was achieved by the team, but only in flickers by Adam. He tried, he ran his blood to water & was great in spells.

This season we do need him on board. It will be hard for him as senior pro to see a player like Angus get the captaincy.
Angus came on leaps & bounds last year & proved he was championship material & the position he plays is a good one
for a captain. I hope that has not affected anything, I probably doubt it & I'm sure Hecky has his reasons for not starting him, in a game where we had too many players making a step up at once. Maybe he thought if we could keep it tight for 45 minutes, he could be the match winner.
In the absence of any other senior pros at the club, I hope we see him start in some of the big matches approaching.
Hecky is doing his best with a bunch of raw kids & I fear we are going to get some beatings if the first month or two. I hope that doesn't cause some of these lads to lose confidence. The experienced lads will be important & I put Mowatt & Bradshaw in there, both of whom have been very disappointing at the back end of last season.

Great post. Agree 100% regarding Hammill. He's nothing to prove to anyone really, and does try too hard. If he keeps it simple I think he'll build his confidence quickly, and he's always capable of some out of the blue brilliance.

I too thought Hammil's problem last season was that he was trying too hard. First half of the season he wasn't really at the races. Towards the back end though, I thought he was one of our better players. Our only player who was creating goalscoring opportunities.

Very surprised to see him left out of the side yesterday, particularly as his place was taken by a central midfield player who has done next to nothing since arriving and a player from league 2 who probably didn't even know the names of his team mates. Potts has had no time at all on the training pitch to show Hecky he's in good form, fully fit and sharp. It's not like he played a competitive game last week and had a stormer. He hasn't played since May. Neither have the rest of our squad but Hecky has been monitoring them for the last month. No idea on what basis Potts got a start. Odd.

did same after Gillingham, seems a regular occurrence and nothing to be concerned about.
