Replacement for Humphrys if he doesn't sign the contract offer? Worse for goals and assists over the years.
A striker with 2 goals in his last 32 appearances flipping heck. I think it's a lazy rumour just because he's Irish.
This is the reason why i hate posting stuff. I had opportunity last season to post about at least 4 signings but didn't bother.
Always been tipped to be the next big thing and never done it. Cost some clubs a lot of money in wages too over the years. Admitted himself that drinking has held his career back. We do need a striker and he has pedigree if Conor can get the best out of him. He seems a big gamble though to me.
No doubting his talent but he's had several off the field issues over last few years. He did a very open and honest interview recently about his alcohol addiction and about rehab etc. If he's over that and looking to knuckle down and work, he'd be an asset for sure, as he's a talented player. Just a year ago he had a decent spell with Hull in championship. If he's still got ongoing issues then sadly it's one we need to swerve. He also didn't look in peak shape when he was at his last club millwall. If we were interested, it's one we'd have to get done asap in my opinion. As he'd definitely need a full pre season in order to ensure he was match ready.
Yep always someone knows better waiting to cut you down, don't know much about him tbh was he at Hull for a bit?
Well anyone’s got to be an improvement on Cosgrove. Down to whether Conor thinks he can sort him out and keep him on the straight and narrow
Id say the type of signing we should make, not been the most prolific in recent time however all of his football has come in a higher division than league 1. Wages probably manageable as hes yet to light it up so cant demand excessive amounts however hes at a good age and if he had a good season in league 1 it would put his career back on an upward trajectory. Definite yes from me
Could be a Vaz Te like signing, no one would touch him with a barge pole. That turned out OK. Especially for West ham with the buy out option.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c5yw8z4jy0ro He's been through a lot. Good to see him doing well health wise now.
Hope the lad kicks on as reading this ,he had huge potential at 19 years old. Be a good fit for him here.
