Dempsey, Payne and Mooy as central options. Young, hungry but unproven. Sounds familiar. Quality, experienced winger in Scannell. Familiar still. Still have the experience of Dean Whitehead in there too. And in Wells they have a 15 goals a season striker, 20 goals plus if he gets the right service and partner. Their defence was a mess though the last few years. Still, they're an intriguing side I feel this season. Saw them come to Derby last season and for 25 minutes they looked like the best side I've ever watched. Then made an error, conceded, and looked a different kettle of fish. By all accounts, that's how their fans see them regularly. Sort of side we need to be finishing above. And Rotherham.
Completely untried at this level. So is something of a gamble. He was cracking against England, but that's where my knowledge of him ends. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Good allround midfielder and a great set piece taker. On loan from City so not a great deal of risk involved.
Think it's great we play them so early before their players get too used to English football. I'm sure some of their new German signings will do well, but not all and no matter what Wagner says it will take them a while to settle in this country. Not sure filing the side with foreigners who've never played here is the way forward. You won't hear Huddersfield Examiner questioning it though. They have had a number of articles as to why next season will be exciting for them. Massive back page headline last week of cracking the club record transfer fee 1.8 million. Tiny snippet down the side for the 1.5 million brought in from selling a player to QPR thus the Dean Hoyle shortfall is a paltry (by his standards) 300k. Lots of cheap/free signings as per usual. Being linked to some loans to bump squad numbers. Could be a good bet to struggle.
