Should be a certainty for the World Cup squad. The way he burst through Boltons defence was outstanding, hes just too quick for defenders and when you can finish like that you know youve got a player. Hes very exciting to watch and it would be great if he got into the England squad. Should be an immediate back up for D.Beckham because SWP hasnt played many games for Chelsea and Lennon is probaby better at tracking back (e.g. that run he made against Bolton to get back). Will Sven pick him?
I agree mate, get him in there, got the ability to create something out of nothing which not many of our players have.
I know he's played more games lately than wright-philips, but i still think he's not as good just yet, i think wright-philips could make the team if rooney has to miss out, but maybe lennon deserves a squad place.
The fact he's an unknown quantity in world terms, would suit him down to the ground, give him a chance, and he'll deliver I'm sure.
