i know of a few, i'm wanting a location to do some filming and an old railway tunnel would be ace.

There's a couple in Silkstone and one in Thurgoland but i'm sure with all the old railway lines in the area there's more.

    Lundwood / Ardsley Tunnel actually...

Is a short stretch off the trans pennine trail going from stairfoot towards lundwood on a branch to the right. Last time I looked it was accessable from the Lundwood end.

I've mailed you a google placemark

That's the ones I walked up

Just off the trans penine trail.

My legs are aching just thinking about it!

Theres one between Hemsworth and Brierly on the old Barnsley to Hull line.

We used to walk through it as kids. It was a mile long and ankle deep in red ochre but Im not sure if they blocked the entrances when they built the Hemsworth bypass.
