Pleased for him. Looks a decent prospect to me and has been unlucky not to get more of a chance.

 

His quality in centre mid shone through here tonight, very calm on the ball and rarely gave the ball away. Sweet goal too.

Abbott is a good player and this loan will do him and our team world of good over this season

 

He will get a fair crack at it with us. Sometimes a young player can have all the attributes and is physically ready for it, but needs something like a loan to get over the line mentally.

Hopefully he will come back full of confidence and take League 1 by storm.
