    Having caught glimpses of Finnish footy, it's fair to say that the standard isn't great. In fact, I reckon if I turned up with my boots and English passport I'd probably be offered a contract on the spot, and I'm 37 and in the Jan Molby mode (mobility rather than skill). What are your thoughts [MENTION=6609]Tomi[/MENTION]?

    Sadly you're right about the standard of Finnish football - it really isn't that great. HJK Helsinki is our only team that doesn't always totally fail in European competitions. Most of the rest are probably League One standard at best, but if Abbott gets to play regularly here it might do him some good. VPS are at the bottom of the league table at the moment with only 10 points from 17 games, so Abbott could be their star player!
