A very emotional Patrick Cryne after the final whistle. If anyone ever doubted what this club means to him (and I confess here that might sometimes have included me) then the pictures of Patrick at full time will have dispelled those doubts. I can state it no higher than to say that this is a proper bloke.

Agreed.......it was the stand out image

I've never doubted Patricks love of the club

I just wish he could find a buyer with a bit more money to invest into the club........but that's for another time....not for now

So why bring it up now ?

Why cant folk just enjoy what a great day its been, regardless of if they watched it at wembley, in tarn, in t'house or spoogy park.

Always 1 pillock got to bring up summat when there's really no need to.

You very drunk and happy red

Yes it was very humbling to see Patrick shedding tears of joy,
Was always baffled why you and others ever doubted him in the first place though , it was never a get rich quick scheme he embarked on.

Don't think ar Dickie was miserable to be fair, he was just being his usual emotional self and welling up.

Congratulations Patrick, I really hope you enjoyed the day.

I don't buy in to the theory that without Patrick Cryne we wouldn't have a football club, but whether or not we'd have one with all the history still attached, which still plays at Oakwell, is certainly up for debate.

Thank you for keeping us going so we could have days like yesterday and hopefully a few more like it in the future.
