2,400 of us went last season on the back of a few wins. Barely a 6th of that have decided they're going to go this season. Away attendances obviously mean sod all in the grand scheme of things, but this is yet another aspect that shows the extent to which the fans feel let down this season when only 400 odd can be bothered to go a measly 30 miles up the road. Hopefully the few that are still sticking with the away games will be rewarded with a win (unlikely I know).
400 isn't great but can you blame any regular away supporter giving this a miss The run is dreadful and the manager and board don't seem to want to change anything so why should the fans spend their hard earned money Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I can't blame anyone for staying away pal, although even with this run I'd have thought more would've gone give it's practically local. Suppose we're just gluttons for punishment!
I see your point but those "measly 30 miles" will be done across the Pennines on what looks like being the first day of winter. Some might say "no, I'm not risking that trip" even if we were on a winning streak.
i,m not going with my lad ,as we did last year because the Reds are not worth spending money on at the moment, yes i have my season tickets, and there is nowt better then a good away day, but not tomorrow , that said i reckon we will win and will be have a tenner on us to do so COYR
True, had only just looked at the forecast today. Think that will have had some say, although the 8 defeats in a row might have had more.
I am one of the few sticking to our away games and hoping for a run of luck. We are not halfway through the season yet so I think we still have time to get out of the relegation zone. I have seen teams do it before. There is nothing in it points wise with no team pulling away from the bottom , so I still think we will turn it around sooner or later. Its a crap league and so far I have not seen one good team. There are all beatable on any given day. COYR !
What a difference a few months have made. I was there last season but won't be going this season. I'm sure a lot of those not bothering have the same reason as me.
Got a few Oldham supporting mates I went with last year. Can't face going and have them gloat when we lose TBH. Bad fan
Ye gods, it puts our position of next to bottom into perspective. If the rest are bad what the hell are we ?
Am going but it's got to the point where I couldn't give a **** about the result. It's more about a day on the beer with the lads!!
