I thought he was immense tonight. Not just his performance, but his attitude.

I thought it showed that he has had a football upbringing that hasn’t been ‘silver spoon’. He’s been at a clubs where he’s learned the value of hard work and the importance of working for the team. Knows what it takes to beat teams in our League. Well done young man.

As for us, we should be applauding that performance tonight. Never mind the Officials or some of the patronising rubbish we’ve had since 1887. That was very descent. Forget it now, get back down to earth and get back to working hard and continuing to learn- individually and collectively.

All about opinions, that's why we love the game, but Tammy Abraham was not, in my opinion, immense, he was a little better than the other Chelsea players and that's not saying much.

Fair enough but just to be clear, my love for the game is not because “it’s all about opinions.”
I’ve a few reasons before that one! ;)

I thought he looked like their tidiest player and was a constant threat. I also thought the award for MOTM was an embarrassment and made a mockery of the game as a whole.

I'm a fan though and would like him to 'be on the plane' for the Euros. He has the right work ethic and all the attributes you mention. Calling him immense is a huge stretch though.

I’m no expert on football, but I was impressed by:
    His praise for us
That he was more pleased about his clearance than his goal
That he was deadly honest that he didn’t feel Sibbicks foul but he thought he deserved the penalty for being pulled back (Mads?)

    It’s refreshing to hear IMHO

It was weird to say he thought Sibbick’s challenge wasn’t a penalty. It clearly was!

It was, but as he clearly hadn’t felt it, he called as he found.

Whereas the pulling him back he thought was def a penalty (would be given often).
