What a performance, one of the best ive seen in recent times from the reds and fully justifiable of the 3 points. Well done.

The back 3 looked really good, Reid wasnt missed at all. Werling and Kozluk played very well at wing back and Werlings goal was an absolute screamer, Roberto Carlos eat your heart out. Foster looked cool as a cucumber, a very very good signing that. Class player.

Hats off to Ferenczi and Odejayi who lead the line very well, pity Odejayi got injured but Christensen looked a threat when he came on also, a couple of nifty touches too including one sublime turn that looked like something out of a Ronaldinho advert.

Johnson, Howard and De Silva in midfield all played well, Howards final ball at times was dissapointing, but Johnsons passing today was excellent. A true battler. De Silva showed some nice touches and put in the cross for Howards header, a few more games and he would be a great addition for us, if only on loan for the season.

Muller in the nets, great keeper. Very passionate too, when the Reds scored he was jumping all over the place, was great to see. His distribution was spot on, started the move for the first and set up a few attacks with his quick thinking and quick throw outs. His kicking sometimes goes a bit too far but his aerial presence was dominating and made a good few saves from shots, including a free kick just before half time.

Kudos to Davey, he looks to be slowly putting together a great team, if they keep playing like that we should do well, the goals we conceded were dissapointing but it did make for an interesting last 20 minutes.

Great game, well done to the Reds, Simon Davey and great vocal support from us fans.

    Cheers for that

Hopefully the goals will breed confidence and the floodgates will open. Not sure we'll get De Silva on a season long loan though. Dunno. Did Odejayi's injury look bad?

I think Odejayi just landed awkwardly when he jumped for an header. Didnt look too bad but not worth risking and the Dane looked good.

The funniest thing was when Werling went down, he was receiving treatment OFF the field and was substituted in the mean time for Ricketts, he didnt know however and actually came back on until he was notified he'd been taken off lol. He still wanted to come back on aswell.

I can only assume they were already planning to take him off.
