Absolutely gutted for our fans, players and manager

Everyone gave everything they could, no one gave less than 100%. But there's nothing anyone can do when the officials are as incompetent as that. The only thing that bemused me was playing at home in a local derby with one striker up front.

 

Why is it?

That I can see that Chris Morgan should be sent off from 500 miles away, but the ref can't when he is about 10 yards away?

There are times when blaming the officials is an easy cop out for a team's own shortcomings. However, today it is totally justified. These people had to be seen to be believed.
I will not criticise any of our players tonight. They gave everything for the cause.

And just about every text had one of the words "ref", "Urso", "******" or "robbed" in it. Just about sums it up.

 

I don't know how long

de Silva's suspension will be for, but it's a worry to be losing both Hume & Macken through injury. Will the likes of Leon, Mostto & Odejayi be capable of stepping up to the plate? We'll see.

 

Beattie should also have gone

deliberate elbow into Souza's face. I was sat in west stand lower. I also had pretty much the same view the linesman had of the penalty.

How he was so sure from such a distance I will never know.
