I disagree, I think his record stands up to anybody else who we could have realistically expected. I feel sorry for MM but after Saturday I think the writing was on the wall for him.
Absolutely no ambition at the club what so ever the bloke is going to fail and be sacked, he's the best thing that's ever happened to this club and he don't deserve it. His track record since he left us is poor, and so is the clubs a generating funds to support managers
If the fans have overblown expectations then he will suffer. I think you need to define poor though as regards to his track record. If he has sackings on his record then unless you are Ferguson or Wenger then any manager will have some of them. To me he was the only choice within our sphere and finances. He would have been my choice anyway Don't agree with you mate but it's all about opinions
Again, I have to disagree with your point about his track record since leaving us. Time will tell I suppose, but I really think this is the best appointment that could be made at this time. The deal is done now - time for you to get behind them.
Whatever any of this regarding his credentials. This appointment needed to unite the fans and get them a bit interested again and i think this has. Good luck danny boy. It aint 1997 any more but keepin this lot up would be an acheivment which would be up there with that
By his track record Im not on about him getting sacked or failing to get teams promoted, Im on about his ability to buy players from the lower leagues or promote from the youth side and turn then into diamonds and sell them for around a million pound or more which is what he's got to do at this club, and at the same time win games its not going to happen
It cannot get any worse then what's happened so far this season. If we carried on like we are, down to league on for sure.
Me too! I'm pretty sure most of his time has been spent in the top half of whatever league he's been managing in at the time, without being overly successful in terms of promotions. However, I believe most of our fans would snatch top half finishes with both hands for the foreseeable future.
