This is so annoying - Boro (rightly) dropping players back everytime we get the ball.

Defence looking to play a pass and every one of our midfield is stood hiding.

There's no guile on display at all.

You've hit the nail on the head there. Our movement was poor, the passing amongst the defence was slow and signposted and there was nobody up front looking for the ball. I would have Davies in the team every day of the week, but there are times when he just doesn't seem to be interested. Of course, he can then pick the ball up 35 yards from goal and nearly break the crossbar, but I can't help feeling that with a bit extra effort at times he would get a lot more chances.

It wasn't helped today by Mellis and Cywka being off their games.

    What is worrying....

...is that we did exactly the same against Ipswich. It was shouting out for us to be quicker on the ball, but we still passed it around as if we had all the time in the world. Even in injury time, we were passing it across the back line.

We needed to up the tempo, and move the ball quicker, that was obvious throughout the game. Pboro just ran us down everytime we had possession.
