He's a young inexperienced manager, they knew that when they appointed him .Its poor fodder at the moment but Cryne needs to back his man , the players need to know that Johnsons position is secure . What is the point of sacking Wilson and appointing a novice if you aren't going to stick with him through the season , good or bad
Inexperience isn't an excuse, it's a reason. Undoubtedly, an inexperienced team with an inexperienced manager will be inconsistent. The problem from the managers perspective is, we appear not to be learning from those mistakes, and results aren't inconsistent, they're very consistent indeed. From the players perspective, they seem to be crying out for a couple of experienced heads in the side, but the strategy is not to provide them. Whether that's the managers plan, the boards or both, only they know.
I could name several inexperienced managers who are doing much better, some with far less resources at their disposal than LJ. I may be wrong but maybe inexperience is not the issue.
 Not the same pressure at Oldham still finding his feet as a manager wether Cryne will hold his nerve is another thing his record suggests LJ hasn't got long left
It's impossible to tell. You can't judge the quality of a manager over 9 months, in one job/league or at one/two clubs. You get pointers yes, but football is absolutely littered with managers that do OK/well in one job but are rotten at the next. The indicators so far for LJ aren't good, I agree. In fact, I've developed a dislike for him and his systems that are stronger than most BFC managers I've watched. But there are just too many variables involved to say that our current failures are primarily down to his inexperience.
To be honest I think our problems go way beyond the manager. No matter who is in the dugout, however well they've done at other clubs, things go wrong very quickly when they join us. Personally I don't rate LJ, I wasn't impressed by his appointment but I don't think he can be blamed for all our problems.
