Not the performance or result, that was pretty much as I expected. I mean, when was the last time we won a South Yorkshire derby? I refer to the turnout by Barnsley fans. 10,000, maybe less, for a crucial South Yorkshire derby. Terrible. People have been having a go at the club for letting season ticket holders have 4 tickets for Wembley, but we're the only buggers who turn up. We pay our money at the start of the season and we turn up for every game. Where were all the people who've been complaining today?
Thats the point I have been trying to make.
The amount ofpeople that have been belly aching about going for years , where were they today.

Which makes the clubs ticketting policy for wembley all the more appalling in my opinion best seats gone to people who aren't even barnsley fans. regular attenders missing out. thanks a lot barnsley fc
RE: Which makes the clubs ticketting policy for wembley all the more appalling in my opinion What you talking about???
The club giving part timers and fans of other clubs priority over those that do go to games. Why do they deserve such special treatment when they dont give a ****?
Easter week, no pay on the gate, global warming, too bloody cold or summer along them lines.
Idle buggers basically.

they've got no need to go most know a season ticket holder so the club ensures they get priority for big games anyway. why bother going to a league game when you don't need to?
do you go to watch Barnsley at Oakwell? I just wondered, do you support Barnsley? I have never, ever, ever, EVER heard a positive comment from you on this board. It is getting quite tiresome Supertyke
We get hardly any walk up at all for league games
I admitI am a part-timer , but as a season ticket holding part timer I am thankful the club have done the tickets like they have.

RE: they've got no need to go How would you have done the tickets??
If it had been 1 per season ticket , we would have needed 6 months to shift the tickets.

I don't know about you, but how many posts someone makes on an internet message board does not quantify whether their points are valid. You did not answer my questions although you did move a step closer to the elusive 8000 posts - congrats
As a season ticket holder i think they gave us far too many tickets for our friends (why? if my friends were barnsley fans then they'd go to oakwell occasionally). 2 per season ticket holder and then work down categories starting at 10 stubs down to anyone with a blunts ticket. if you can't afford a season ticket there is no incentive to go to **** league games if you arent a 'proper' fan. I just think it's wrong that the club gave priority to people who just happen to know season ticket holders while regular attenders who dont have one got **** all.
fat Barstewards then? i don't take up 4 seats, just the one. they are giving priority to season ticket holders friends
I doubt there are many with 10 stubs as our attendences would dictate., and why would you keep them as there is no indication that they would be of any use.
The club wanted to shift the tickets a.s.a.p so they did the right thing.
They should try and start a category system again next season, it cant be that hard to do.

Dates shown in brackets 1: season ticket holders who have held ticket since prior to promotion to championship= 2 tickets (20/21) 2: all other season ticket holders = 2 tickets (24) 3: centenary ticket holders (25 4: 10 barnsley match stubs (26) 5: 5 barnsley match stubs (27) 6: ipswich stub or sheff utd stub (28)
I was at Oakwell Outside, i thought my brother was getting the tickets but he thought it was pay on the day. Why do they make these matches all ticket, they lost at least £40?
