That is the club's 'organisation' and the stewarding.

Not content with HELPING people onto the pitch after last years final home game, this season the stewards allowed fans to come pitchside of the advertising hoardings while the game was still in progress and made no attempt at all to get them back into the stands

Nice to see the closed west stand protected though FFS. Stadium security/stewards (whatever posh title they want) stood in front of a closed stand while hundreds of chavs were pitchside...

The club made no attempt to stop any pitch invasion and to be perfectly honest if the FA/FL throw the book at us for it then the club has only itself to blame.

The 'letter' was probably a load of **** too.

If the FA had warned us, I'm sure we'd have had more stewards around.

Would you really have expected barnsley football club to have listened to the fa?

It's against football league rules to let people smoke in the corner between west stand and ponty, the club was reminded this by the football league yet they still allow it every single game.

The club knew there would be a pitch invasion yet took no steps to avoid it, I don't think a letter would have made any difference to the apathetic approach that is taken.

    I blame the club

It is their job to control the spectators. Protecting an empty west stand. FFS.

And what exactly were the 10 to 15 police officers doing stood near the tunnel? There were more there than around all the stands put together

    Everyone Is To Blame

Players like JCR for handing over his shirt to one of the criminals on the pitch, the fans for going on knowing we could get in the **** and the club for having the same old **** security they have always had. I feel sorry for all the law abiding citizens who stayed in the stands and didn't have a chance to show appreciation to the players.

I think that was aimed at me so no i'm not saying that. I'm saying that its an example of the club not listening to reminders/warnings given by the football league in the past. The club/supporters trust announced plans to allow smoking in the corners and were reminded by the football league that it is against rules and would be punished, barnsley went ahead and allowed it anyway.

No wonder you are called "Super Moan" by S.M

    RE: 3.0 what?

Maybe there's something wrong with you mentally if it has ruined your day. Just enjoy the fact that we're staying up you fool.
