I am a regular Academy watcher as I enjoy seeing the lads develop over the 2 to 3 years they play in that team. A young lad called Danny Smith played full back during the later half of the season. Even though he was too young to be signed on a contract, he was clearly an outstanding prospect. It was announced that he was to be offered a contract along with another 6 or 7 lads. However, the official site does not list him in the new intake. Has anyone any idea what happened to him?
