Barnsley 1 (Kyle Wyatt) Stoke 1 In windy conditions Barnsley were out-muscled for long periods by a bigger and stronger Stoke team. The young reds led from the half hour mark when Heslop picked out Wyatt in space and the young lad headed home unchallenged. The reds held out under mounting pressure until 5 minutes from time when a mistake from the centre back allowed the Stoke #10 to run through on goal. He hit the post but the rebound was hit home from close range. It could have been worse as Stoke were awarded a penalty in the final minute. However, the Stoke player missed and the Ref immediately blew for time.
